New balancing service:
Huning Umwelttechnik GmbH extended the range of service with a balancing bench. The service makes a balancing of centrifuges possible : diameter 2100 mm, length 6000 mm weight 12000 kg speed 3600 r/min (please see our flyer [284 KB] ).

Second-hand silo on sale
Huning Umwelttechnik GmbH + Co. KG offers a second-hand sewage sludge transport silo for sale or for leasing. The silo has a capacity of 500 cubic meters and was installed for two years in Newcastle/Britain as a bunker at the sewage plant Hendon and disassembled in the beginning of 2011. Sewage sludge which incurred after dewatering can be stored before leading. The diameter is 10.5 m and the hight is 9.5 m. The effort for the basement/foundation is low because the load balancing is done by 40 feet.

Overhead loading container

The overhead loading container is in demand in England
The overhead loading container of Huning was five times sold within one year to England. The system was bought by the waste water treatment association Northumbrian
in northeast of England. The client had used the high-maintenance roll-off container with
pivotable conveyor belt. Because of many advantages he decided for the
bigger overhead loading container.
The system is closed and odour-free. The personnel expenditure is lower, almost stand-alone in operation and offers higher loading capacity. 60 instead of 15 cubic meters can be loaded which reduces removal costs. Northumbrian is convinced of the new systems which will be amortized after a few years.

Huning installs a mixing and sieving plant in St. Petersburg-
Own system/process
The performance of Huning Umwelttechnik GmbH & Co KG experience also growing interest in Eastern Europe.
Latest proof: The enterprise from Melle-Kerßenbrock sold a mixing and sieving plant/unit to St. Petersburg in the end of 2010. Although the negotiations in Russia weren`t easy, nevertheless successfully completed in the end. St. Petersburg is the second largest city of Russia after Moscow.
The water company Vodokanal disposed sewage sludge from waste water treatment in large lagoons in the last decades. The lagoon disposition covers approx. 840.000qm in the northern area of this metropolis. It has an average hight of 3.4 m and resulting from this there is a sevage sludge mass of around 3.1 million tons. In the last ten years St. Petersburg invested in modern dewatering technology as well as in two new sludge incineration plants. Huning Umwelttechnik developed together with KNT-Plus based in Moscow a process to withdraw sludge having a very difficult consistency from lagoons and to reprocess it as recultivation soil. The accompanying mixing and sieving plant was delivered to Russia in December 2010. It generates an environmentally sustainable product from mixing of sludge and ashes.
